We were never really at the races in this game. The final score was 3-1 – a repeat of the scoreline at the Windmill Ground earlier in the season. The visitors took the lead on 11 minutes when, from a corner, the ball bounced off Josh Hinwood’s head into his own net as he challenged an attacker at the near post. Llantwit went two up in the 27^th minute from a penalty given after sloppy defending by us allowed Kofi Rowe to shoot goalwards and the ball hit the hand of the unfortunate Hinwood. Lewis Watkins got his hand to the spot kick by Jack Bevan but the ball bounced up onto the underside of the bar and into the net. We  had the better of the rest of the half, Josh Howells, Fletcher and Doolan having good efforts sail just wide of the target

After the break Josh Hinwood’s well-struck free kick from 35 yards was straight at the keeper Ryley Allen. Fletcher cut in from the left to bring a fine diving save from Allen. On 64 minutes Llantwit were 3 goals to the good. A long ball out of defence found Kofi Rowe who held off a defensive challenge and laid the ball across the goal to the unmarked Cameron Gauci who placed the ball into the corner of the net. Our heads didn’t drop. Allen saved from Fletcher and in  the 82^nd minute, from an Oliver Berry free kick, Tommy Challenger scored a consolation goal for Celtic with a shot across the goal which eluded the outstretched hand of the keeper.
