Walking Football to host Annual Tourament

Cwmbran Celtic
By Connor Cupples · 16 August 2026

⚽ Cwmbrân Celtic Annual Summer Walking Football Tournament 2026 ⚽

We’re delighted to be hosting our Annual Summer Walking Football Tournament at Llantarnam 3G Pitch on Sunday 23rd August — and this year promises to be a fantastic day of walking football!

🏆 25 teams will be competing across our Men’s Over 50s and Over 60s competitions, with clubs travelling from across Wales and further afield — including teams from Wigan and Salford.

It’s brilliant to welcome so many walking football teams to Cwmbrân and we’re looking forward to a competitive, friendly and enjoyable day.

📅 Sunday 23rd August 2026

📍 Llantarnam 3G Pitch, Cwmbrân

⚽ Men’s Over 50s & Over 60s

👏 Spectators are very welcome, so please come along, enjoy some great football and support walking football in our community.

☕ Refreshments will be available throughout the day.

We also have sponsorship opportunities available for local businesses or organisations who would like to support the tournament and Cwmbrân Celtic Walking Football Club. Please get in touch if you’d like to be involved.

Please share this post and help us spread the word! 💙💛
