Our 1st team game on Friday night at Baglan Dragons was postponed after late heavy rain rendered the pitch unplayable. This was unfortunate as our players and staff had already made the journey to the ground.
On Sunday, our Ladies 1st team stormed back from their disappointing 2-2 draw with Cascade on Thursday to record an emphatic 4-1 win against second-placed Pure Swansea. Goals from Cerys Shipley, Casey Daniels. Macey Morris and an own goal sealed the win.
Also on Sunday, our Under 21s continued their winning run. They scored two late goals to complete a 3-2 victory against Llanelli Town and retain their place at the top of the table. Scorers were Tom Dean, Ethan Hooper and Tom Challenger .
Our Ladies Development team fell to a narrow 1-2 defeat at 2nd placed AFC Llwydcoed. Chloe Leonard scoring their only goal.
Our under 18s cup semi-final against PILCS FC and our Vets 40s game both fell victim to the weather and were postponed.
At Junior level, Micky Copeman’s under 16s had a 5-0 win in the BGCW Federation Cup against Barry United – Kalem Waters scoring four of the goals and Harrison Wallace the other.
Our under 14 girls team recorded a fine 3-0 win away to Undy AFC.
