Our 1st team home game against Trefelin was, once again, a victim of the atrocious recent weather.
On Thursday our Women’s 1st team suffered a narrow 1-0 defeat to Cascade, who are becoming a bit of a bogey side. They redeemed themselves on Sunday when they came away from League leaders Cardiff Met. with a very creditable 1-1 draw.
Our Ladies Development side had an excellent 5-2 win at Penywaun, which moved them up to 7th place in the League with a number of games in hand over all the sides above them. Lydia Meaney scored two of our goals.
The 3rd team won a hard fought Senior Bowl Quarter-Final game against Premier X opponents Criag Villa Dino – winning on penalties 5-3 after the scores were level 2-2 at full time. Josh Hinwood scored both our goals with fine headers.
The under 18s were back in League action and recorded an excellent 5-1 victory away to Caldicot Town. Rheuben Morgan-Wood notched two of the goals.
On the Junior front our under 16 Yellows recorded a 6-1 win over Croesyceiliog Red to maintain their 100% record and top position in their League. Our 16 Blue team went down 6-2 to Croesyceiliog Blue.
Our under 14 girls went down 5-3 at home to Ponthir Diamonds and our under 13 boys narrowly lost 1-0 to Fairfield United.
