Celtic have finished 3rd in the FAW Reserve League South-East. On 22 February after a run of 9 wins and a draw Celtic were out in front, the league placings then were: Celtic 17-43, Newport 19-39, Abergavenny 15-31. However, Abergavenny finished with a run of 11 wins and 2 draws, including a 3-0 win versus Celtic which proved crucial in the final analysis. Once again, Neil Jones and Ian Rawlings succeeded in their primary objective of bringing young players through. They put out 53 players of whom 16 were youth age (18 and under). 15 of the bona fide Reserve players played for the 1st team.
