Match Report

The Reserves scored eight at Cwmbran Stadium in the town derby, beating Cwmbran Town 8-2 for a third straight league win.

Gary Phillips scored a first-half hat-trick, on 13 from Brooklyn Lee's pass and on 31 and in first-half stoppage time, both from Jack Prosser. Urio Hijambazapo added the other first-half goal on 30, from Evan Prosser, before Max Biaggi replied for Town.

Hijambazapo scored again after the break, again from Evan Prosser, and laid on goals for Joe Barber and substitute Ollie Walters. Daniel Madge, also off the bench, completed Celtic's scoring from Barber's pass, and Ieuan Mccann got Town's second late on.

Jamie Pring captained the side from goal. Evan Prosser was booked, as was Town's Lamin Jammeh. Gavin Gleed refereed. COMET's record of this game times every second-half event as first-half stoppage time (45+16 and so on), and the report prints those minutes as recorded.
